Should you break no contact?

Absence makes the heart grow fonder, so if you want to get your ex back you should try as hard as you can not to break no contact.

Understand that when you make contact too early after the breakup, this might work against you for there is still anger and resentment between the two of you. You will not have given your ex time to sort out the many conflicting feelings that might be going through their head. You should therefore avoid making things worse than they are at the moment. Patience pays off, and this is the best time to exercise it.

Truth is, people make mistakes within their relationships all the time. It's normal. And people forgive each other too, but sometimes that takes a while. You can get your second chance but your partner might not be able to give it to you right away.

First, you need to back away from the situation. Allow some time to pass... and devote a little of that time to learning how to ask for forgiveness. Your ex might take you back if you are convincing enough about being sorry and wanting your relationship to be saved.

Probably my favorite example of a couple who've broken up and then created a very public "Getting back together success story" is singing superstar Pink, and hubby Carey Hart.

The couple met back in 2001 at the X Games. After a passionate 4 year relationship singer Pink (Alecia Moore) proposed to Hart while he took part in a Motocross race. She held up a sign in the pit lane which read, "Will you marry me?"

Hart obviously thought his girl was pulling his leg, until she held up another sign which read, "I'm serious".
